Getting ready to jump into DCS when the F-16 arrives, so trying to to learn as much as possible and waiting on a new machine that will run the game. Lots of questions but first. I saw the videos to install Simple Radio and UniversRadio, do you have to have one of these to play multiplayer. If so are they compatable with each other and of course, what works best in DCS?

Thanks for any help.

They aren't required to join multiplayer servers but you won't be able to communicate with mosdt people. Simple Radio is what people use the most.

SRS is required on many servers, and many more use it as an option. It also interfaces directly with DCS plane radios and therefore is highly immersive. Ofcourse you have to learn how to use in game radio.
