K4t4n4 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Greetings, today I've tried to set the water quality to "low", everything is fine but I noticed that at medium-high altitude the horizont isn't faded and an horizontal line is very visible (see the attached screenshot). Does anyone know if there's a solution, except choosing another setting for the water quality? Thanks.
warthogmadman987 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I would make sure that your haze setting is set at Advanced. I think it that is set that way you might not have that problem.
rattler Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 You should see some sort of Horizon, unless it is a real hazy day and you could lose the ground just after takeoff on a real hot day. Line might be a bit more than should be.
K4t4n4 Posted September 25, 2007 Author Posted September 25, 2007 The haze is already set to high. I know that the horizont in some conditions should be visible, but my horizont line is too crisp, and if I set the water quality to medium or better, it totally disappears (and the result is much more realistic imho). BTW in an overcast day, the line is visible only below the clouds.
Vekkinho Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Try setting general visibility in weather tab to 30km or put some fog in your mission! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
K4t4n4 Posted September 25, 2007 Author Posted September 25, 2007 Thanks for the answers, for now I wish to know if I'm the only one that have this problem, or you too see the horizont line with the water quality set to "low".
