So, exactly as the title says. I noticed this while I was trying to use some moose scripts and I was racking my brain as to why they would not engage in MP. In SP it works just fine. So to test this I built a mission with no scripts, just various IR sams. They engage in SP but nothing in MP.

 

Radar SAMs seem to work fine.

 

I'm using this on a standard install of open beta with the webgui with the no render option enabled. I would use the normal openbeta full dedicated option but it does not seem to like MOOSE or MIST so that's out of the question.

Since 2.5.5, the --norender option has affected AI in that for many (if not all), they do not engage the enemy.

 

If you can, run off the full install using --server option without --norender. You can use "options.graphics.render3D = false" in the autoexec.cfg file.

 

ED is aware of this and has said it is a priority to fix, though apparently it is a complicated issue for them to resolve.

I Confirm, still not working in the OB 2.5.5.34108 => 31/07/2019

 

I think the problem is the same of [REPORTED]IA not firing in MP -norender servers
