McG Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I currently have a 25" monitor as display 1 and a 49" 4K Sony TV as display 2 hooked up to my PC. The 25" monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The 49" TV has a resolution of 3840 x 2160. I want to setup DCS to open only on display 2 when launched. What edits should I make to the .lau file to achieve this?
JG14_Smil Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 (edited) I honestly don't know how DCS handles these different resolutions anymore. I believe you want your DCS display to start at 0,0, so I would remove the 25", let Windows set the 48" as #1 and re-add the 25' as #2. Windows can easily run with #2 as the main monitor. I am pretty sure you add the X values together, but your max height will be 2160. Monitor two then starts at X=3840 (if you have it placed to the right. The math all depends on your Windows positioning, which you haven't provided.) Someone else will hopefully help you more if you need it. Good luck. Edited August 2, 2019 by JG14_Smil

See this post I made: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2616874&postcount=799 Also, at the end, the CENTER is an arbitrary name. The syntax does change over time, so you may have to play with it. now that I'm a VR user, I tore down my 3 monitor + 2 USB monitor setup. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
McG Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 Thanks for the info. I basically want DCS when launched to run full screen on my 4K TV. I think from reading hansangb's post I need to set up the X co-ordinate to be 2559 and the Y co-ordinate to be 0 in order to get this to happen.
