[NO] Nuke for the F-16

We make study sims, and are striving for the most accurate representation of the model we can get the most information on, and that is public legal information. If you want guessing and Frankenstein monster Vipers, you will have to look elsewhere. We are making the DCS: F-16CM Block 50, and whatever should come with it used by USAF and ANG, circa 2007.

 

Will we get Dual Capable Aircraft capability and thus nukes for the F-16? It surely is a realistic loadout in terms of supported wartimes loadout.

ED has no plans in adding nukes to any of its modules, past, present or future.

With all due respect...I am a 22 year Veteran of the US Air Force with over 6,000 flying hours on 4 different aircraft. I served in every conflict between 1990 and 2009.

 

Not once in 22 years did "wartime loadouts" include nukes.

 

There is zero need for nukes in DCS world because the vast majority of server owners are not going to go to the effort of creating a mission with numerous trigger, options and objective...just so someone can waltz in and drop a nuke to screw everything up. I know I sure as hell won't.

 

That being said, since there is no real demand other than for lone warrior who want to set up their own servers and nuke things over and over again...there is no need to waste time coding them.
