MobiSev Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 like title says. Rolands will not engage...or even attempt to engage...air weapons like anti-radiation, JSOWs, etc. Modules owned: FC3, M-2000C, Mig-21bis, F-5E, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A-18C, KA-50, Mi-8, F-14A&B, JF-17
pepin1234 Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Tor is the only SAM capable to do such anti missile defense. Our Rolland seem to be the second generation. There is a most advanced Rolland version or French variant. Our Sams system are 80s Era. Maybe we will get some updated soon in this regard. Did you tested the Chinese HQ-7 in anti-missile engagement? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Did you tested the Chinese HQ-7 in anti-missile engagement? Rolands were engaging air weapons until recently. Also, the HQ-7 is really crappy at anti-missile Modules owned: FC3, M-2000C, Mig-21bis, F-5E, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A-18C, KA-50, Mi-8, F-14A&B, JF-17
FlankerMan Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 Last I checked (which was a few months back, mind you), the Patriot, SA-10, and most ships could do anti-missile defense. I thought the Roland could, too, and the Hawk, SA-8, and SA-11 can shoot the Kh-31P, if nothing else. Also, the SA-19 uses its guns on the Kh-58U. What uses the HQ-7? I didn't know about it.

backspace340 Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Reported it around the time they stopped engaging: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=242191
