obious Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Just wondering if its possible to use a spring loaded axis input (like on an Xbox controller for example) to control the external view? As far as I can work out, only the mouse can control the external view which is fine when I'm at at my desk but when using an Xbox One controller (which I'll be doing when I move my current PC to the lounge for some casual flying), I can't bind the external panning view to the right thumb stick. Anyone know if its possible to do it? I think this would also have to include the 'default' view as being behind the aircraft once the thumb stick is returned to the neutral position which I don't think can currently be set? BaD CrC Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Anything can control the external view. Keys, axis from any kind of controller, pads, you name it.... Just go to the controls tab and assign your controller axis to the different up/down/left/right moves in the view category. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden

The boxes to assign external views to a thumb pad are greyed out and cannot be selected Intel 12900k @ 5.2Ghz, RTX 4090, Samsung 1TB NVME, Thrustmaster Warthog & F-18 stick, Pendular Rudder Pedals - Quest Pro AV8B N/A UFC Build Log AV8B N/A PCBs for sale
