F10 map in mission

I would like to know if it is possible to use the mouse to get measurements or headings while using F10 map during missions, just like you can when in ME? Sometimes a wingman goes missing in action and would like to be able to give a distance to them to either catch up or a heading to take.

Yes, simply use the ruler, like in the ME.
