nighthawk2174 Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 I don't know if this is a bug but it sure does seem like it. When you have AIM-7's on your aircraft it will auto set the type in the stores page to "7F". And no matter what type of aim-7 you have selected the hud and stores page will read "7M". However if you change the type of selected AIM-7 once it will read the proper type on the hud. -currently have MH's selected - type set to 7M

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 13, 2019 ED Team Posted September 13, 2019 Hi all This is not a bug, when we press HOTAS switch fwd, the pylon became selected but not designated yet (marked as M), then we use the DDI button and Main computer designates the missile as H. The computer can't distinguish between M and H without manual requesting Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Harker Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 (edited) However if you change the type of selected AIM-7 once it will read the proper type on the hud ..... -currently have MH's selected type set to 7M The way I understand it is that the DDI OSB displays the variant it will change TO instead of the variant it's currently in. Also, BN's comment makes sense based on what we see in the Hornet right now. Edited September 13, 2019 by Harker The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs.
