No radio menu on Growling Sidewinder

How can you startup and load out without this?

Maybe you got into a bugged aircraft as there's always been radio menu for me. I use comm1/2 but I'm guessing as an old timer (DCS wise) you tried that.

I’m in the M-2000C. You need the ground power to start up and the arm / refuel like every aircraft. On other servers it works.

The normal radio command won’t work on GS

Pressing “/“ for the comma menu brings up the options but F8 for the ground crew is grayed out. How can you start up and load out without the ground crew? And the M-2000C needs ground power and the wheel chocks removed.

On other servers and in SP this functions correctly. What’s wrong on GS?

They still respond even though it's grayed out. I'm on that server all the time (LithiumR). Some planes you need to have the battery on if you are using comm1 / comm2. \ works regardless I think.

I thought it used to be that the ground crew worked without power when the canopy was open. Like you’re actually just speaking to them. Maybe that was just the A-10C

 

Why does GS behave differently than other servers or SP? I’m usually running Easy Comms Off and AFAIK that’s the only setting in the sim. Unless there’s something in the mission designer.

This is still really confusing. Why doesn’t the normal Main Radio button bring up the menu any why is it grayed out? I’m surprised I’m the only one asking... anyways it’s figured out now.
