DAZnBLAST Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I don't know about anyone else, but pressing F10 crashes LOMAC (So far only in MP games). I always get send to Microsoft message if I press F10. What's frustrating is I don't look at the map often and when I do, bang - there she goes! This happen to anyone else or do I need to uninstall and re-install?? I have the original game, uninstalled --> reinstalled --> patched from 1.0 - 1.02 (when 1.02 was released). Most services are closed when MP'ing, can't think what it would be? Can this be looked into please? ED Team Chizh Posted November 14, 2004 ED Team Posted November 14, 2004 In 1.1 we have fixed two bugs with F10 view. It is the possible reason of your troubles. MBot Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Great to hear about that. Finaly I can use the map too :) While we are at this subject. Are there any chances that there could be some improvements on the inflight map in future addons ? What I would like to see: - Il-2 style map. Not a full screen map, but a small one that just covers up a part of your monitor while you stay in the cockpit and still fly around. A resizeable map would be best, so everyone could have the map as big/small as he wants. The Il-2 style map is excellent for navigation when you crosscheck landmarks on your map and outside the cockpit. - The possibility to draw simple symbols like circles, lines, squares and other notes on your map in the mission briefing that apear later on your inflight map. Like circles for "no-fligh zones", marks of ground forces etc. Example: http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_092k.html - That your waypoints apear on your map. - Just in general I would like the map to be a more usefull tool on your mission. Anyone who has read Andy Bush's A-10 articles on SimHQ propably knows what I am talking about.
