My aircraft not saved on multiplayer track

I'm playing DCS with my son in multiplayer. I set up my computer as a private server and we both connect. The mission plays our fine, but the auto-saved track does not contain my plane at all! It simply doesn't exist.

 

This happens in DCS 2.5.5 Open Beta. Not sure about older versions.

 

EDIT: replaced 5.5 with 2.5.5

Jokes aside, I think that's a reported problem.
