...So ridiculously satisfying firing up a WW2 fighter in VR with the speakers turned up to 11

 

Mid fifties and I literally grin every time I do it.

 

Then if I complete a successful taxi, take off, land, taxi, park & switch off and I am in full Cheshire cat mode without firing a shot!

 

I still find taxiing the Spitfire a matter of pure random swerving mind, I just can't really seem to get my head around the whole wheel brake rudder thing even though I know how it should work, it just feels so non intuitive. Is the real thing this hard?

I found a really easy way to get used to taxiing. Go in to F2 view and watch how your tail behaves while your taxiing around. When you see it you learn how to counter it quicker. Then when you've cracked it get back in to F1 view and you'll have a much better understanding of what's going on at the back.
