"We're sorry, currently our video library can only be streamed within the United States." :(

That sucks, try this; You tube video showing part of the show

This is the part about George "Bud" Day

By the way, if you have a chance to read the book about him, called "American Patriot"

From the same author that wrote "Boyd"

The book talk about everything from surviving a no chute ejection from a F-84 to the horrors he endure as a P.O.W. in Vietnam.

This guys that have been awarded the Medal of Honor have some amazing stories.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

Are there other medal awarded by other counties to their military member for incredible sacrifice and valor under fire that can be compared to the Medal of Honor? The Medal of Honor can't possibly be the only one. You guys have any videos or amazing stories, I would love to hear/read/watch them.

Are there any others? Are you asking seriously? There are countless examples of heroism and I'm sure lot's of people here could pop with some examples. Just many of them weren't lucky enough to collect more medals... Here's an example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Mynarski

Well of course there many other act of heroism, not what meant, sorry. Just wondering what is the name of the medals. For example this medal from this country, etc. And if anyone has videos or the stories so we can hear/listen/see them.

No need to be sorry. Just a misunderstanding.

What's "funny" is that if anyone post info on virtually any WW2 bloodiest of battles and fronts a significant number of Polish soldiers were among them. They hadn't been exactly swimming in medals as due to, well, first German and after that 50 years of Russian occupation. Those war heroes who decided to come back to Poland could count on bullet rather than medal.

For example a tank warfare hero general Stanisław Maczek ...

(...) was stripped of Polish citizenship by the Communist government of the People's Republic of Poland, and thus had to remain in Britain. As he was not considered by the British to be an Allied soldier, he was denied combatant rights and a military pension[3]. As a result, until the 1960s he was forced to do menial work[8], working as a bartender in the 1960s in an Edinburgh hotel.

Some hero story, huh? You can read more about his combat experiences.

Polish combat pilot veteran Tadeusz Góra (WW2, later MiG-15 and MiG-17 pilot)

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=811755&postcount=165

Some more medal information this time.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanisław_Skalski top scoring Polish fighter ace of WW2 awarded with Distinguished Service Order and 3x Distinguished Flying Cross and after he got back to Poland under the mentioned regime he was also awarded with... death sentence, imprisoned until 1956.

No medal here but an interesting persona ;)

I hope you don't mind those are just Poles. I'm quite unfamiliar with foreign heroes except a handful of them :)
