ariyaner Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 hi when i use gun or unguided rocket i can switch modes via uncage button to dsl and ccip (standart mode) what is the difference and what dsl means ? thx
Captain Orso Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 CCIP uses ARBS to show where bullets or rockets will strike if fired in that moment; it takes all your aircraft's motion into account. I don't recall what DSL stands for, but it's basically simply boresighting. DSL just says, that's the direction we are aimed at. It is only for if the ARBS computer and sensors are defective. Constantly Computed Impact Point (CCIP) uses the aircrafts attitude, altitude, height, speed, etc. to calculate where the gun shells/rockets will land. Depressed Sight Line (DSL) modes use a manual (backup) sight with a ODU* entered depression angle, you enter the correct depression angle for a given dive angle, speed and height and press the trigger when all the parameters are met during your dive and the reticle is lined up with the target. *DDI Stores page 'SITE' i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
