Virpil base + TM joys

hi everyone,

Proud owner of a Virpil moongose base. I have been using it for almost a year, with a Warthog stick.

Then I bought a Hornet stick, so I would like to know what´s the method for easy and quick change, I don´t mean the hardware part but software.

Once a stick is plugged, my guess is:

1) open VPC

2) save profile

3) start DCS and save the controls profile with a distinctive name

Then get the other stick. Put it in place.

3) open VPC

4) create new profile and save it

5) open DCS, assing bindings for new stick. Save profile with a distinctive name

When using the other stick is required:

6) plug it in

7) open VPC and load profile

8) open DCS, settings, controls, click on any joystick cell

9) load DCS profile

not sure about the load/save DCS profile part, DCS tags controller inut control files based it its ID name and GUID string,

so you might find DCS once it has got a set of button configured for both devices, just changes automatically based on wat is plugged in when DCS launches
