Nice and easy in the f-16 with just selecting the bomb arms the bomb where as in the f-18 theres a lot more workload

 

this just more automated in the f-16 or currently simplified

F-16 only has mechanical arming wires. The options are nose, tail, both, or neither. Complexity comes down to how the wires are attached and to what devices: detonation fuzes, high drag devices, laser seekers, proximity sensors. A lot of the preparation is done for you but yes it is just that easy.
