Hi guys, on reading through, this article I came across the section that refers to skins being in resolutions devisable by 2.

I have an interesting re-skin todo however the resolution turns out to be something around 3482 x 1024 (ie divisible by 2). And I was wondering would this strange resolution cause any problems further down the track ?

I guess I’m asking a boarder question which is : Does LOMAC care if the res is not (1024, 2048, 4096, as is common throughout the community). ie performance implication(s) (other than the size of the image).

Thanks for any wisdom in this matter

I agree with you Deadman.

However I have found that the skin fits the model best @ 3482 x 1024 (if I multiply by 2 or 4 it looks very streached / compressed). And I was wondering if this strange res would cause any performance / other issues with LOMAC:FC

It doesnt seem to have any effect ... however I thought to ask before investing any serious time in it.

Cheers

I guess it would just increase memory usage on the video card. I think if you increase textures to much and they go over the limit of the available video memory you'll start getting stutters
