Would it be possible to add in the ability to manually input coordinates for waypoints?

- See the picture I created as an example.

Why would this be beneficial?

- This would give mission creators the ability to quickly input exact flight plan waypoints from other people by copying and pasting from a text document; versus, trying to drag a waypoint to a location.

How will this impact users positively?

- In a large unit such as CSG-2, where on any given Saturday, there are 25-30 people flying in a single 2-3 hour mission. Having to manually enter waypoints while on deck is time consuming, and with the current Nimitz, there are limited spawn points and with server desync and the unfortunate deck sliding on immediate spawn it can be extremely demoralizing having to redo everything after blowing up due to desync (this is not a knock on ED, I personally do not know of any multiplayer game that doesn't run into desync from time to time). Also having pilots input waypoints in a holding stack after takeoff and before departing for the mission, adds more time onto already long missions for some users. For this reason, CSG-2 Flight leads submit flight plans to the mission creator to pre-load waypoints into each flight package to limit time on deck and to facilitate quicker on target times.

Any other reasons?

- It would add in a nice to have feature and give mission creators the exact center point for waypoint '0', or a units spawn point for Preplan Mission Targets.

One recent issue I've found is that there appears to be no simple way of allocating different, co located, TGT wp's within the same flight. The copy paste idea simply reproduces all Nav settings in the one flight, and as DD above observes, entering WP after WP is long handed and prone to fat fingers!.

Why don't you create the flight plan with one aircraft and then copy paste it ?

You cant copy and paste between two missions, and each flight has their own flight plan, ei. attacking different locations, different roles, etc.
