Solved (sorry) found it on page 250 of the manual: Spirale VIseur

But... Spirale is the decoy system... Perhaps jojo you would know?

Thanks jojo mais what is the relation between the 2 spirale... The decoy dispenser (Système de Protection Infrarouge et RAdar par LEurrage, ok I get that) and the scan pattern (of the radar I assume)???? they have nothing in common but they are both called the same??? and why VISEUR??? spirale viseur???

SVI has nothing nothing to do with decoy system.

French just like fancy acronym for their equipments :lol:

 

Head Up Display (HUD) = Viseur Tête Haute (VTH).

 

In SVI mode, the radar antenne performs a spiraling scan pattern which grossely covers the HUD FoV.

Hence the Spirale VIseur (SVI).
