Hello all, ive been an avid follower of the forums, while my DCS vr experience has not been the worse, im just reaching out to see if there is anything specific im missing or may need to upgrade to help me maintain a constant 90 fps, with ASW off im able to get a smooth 90 in many non load situations like bombing practice and a few others, but the carrier is a huge hit along with any high scripted missions. any help would be appreciated, i hate running with ASW on for higher end missions after getting a taste of what untainted 90 fps feels like while flying the hornet, its hard to go back

Specs are as follows:

asus x299 motherboard

intel core i-7-7820x OC'd to 4.8

ASUS ROG Geforce rtx 2080 ti 12 gig oc'd 2055 mhz

64 gigs of ram ran on the XMP profile

and 2 samsung SSD 1 tb each

running the samsung odyssey +

Not being an expert by any means, I have an i7700k and a 2080ti with a HP Reverb and although I used to often see an unadulterated 90Hz from time to time I’ve left WMR Reprojection on since I’ve had the Reverb.

Having it off was simply not an option. It’s been discussed in plenty of other places but if you insist upon having reprojection switched off then I would suggest at this stage of VR development, VR may not be the best way for you to go. I’ve long since stopped giving it any thought, I fly with the Reverb whenever I can and have a ball.

i7700k OC to 4.8GHz with Noctua NH-U14S (fan) with AORUS RTX2080ti 11GB Waterforce. 32GDDR, Warthog HOTAS and Saitek rudders. HP Reverb.

Probably not much. CPU is still the bottleneck even in VR. All the GPU does for you (after a point) is anti-aliasing. I don't know that anybody gets consistent 90fps in VR.

Ryzen 5600X (stock), GBX570, 32Gb RAM, AMD 6900XT (reference), G2, WInwing Orion HOTAS, T-flight rudder

Yeah 90fps in VR is mostly a myth for DCS. Look up at the sky :)... I just turned off the frame counter and learned to be happy when it "felt" smooth.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).
