Frederf Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 The 8 or 4 minute times depend on the hardware in the particular F-16. Older systems were 8, newer are 4. The DCS module is of the newer type and should be 4 minute to normal performance (status 10). DTE is just the USB thumb drive to load data into the airplane. The function of the EGI or INS is the same. The alignment may begins before or even without DTE load at all.
