Baltic Air Policing actually started already some years ago (I think, the Norwegians were the first..).

From Siauliai, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania air space is protected by NATO aircraft.

Unless one of the Baltic Nations saved enough money to by and operate own fighters, NATO will stay there and serve them.

 

Sauliai is a town in Lithuania ;)
