Is the WarBRD base stable on a desk, not bolted down, with the larger T-50 grip on it? I know the T-50 is too long for true desktop use but I'm tempted by it and thinking of workarounds to use it since it's not practical for me to mount but I could e.g. have it on a coffee table. But the key point is I need to be able to move it.

I have a WarBRD base and initialy used it with the WarBRD stick on the desk and it was ok.

When I bought the F18 TM stick, it started to be less confortable because the stick I taller. So I decided to invest for monstertech table mounts. It is better now and I am happy with them even if I should have bought the long version mounts for the stick.

I am not a tall guy with only 170cm and my small hands, so it could be anticipated. Take this feedback for what it is and not a truth.

Concerning stability on the desk, not bolted, I had no issue with either stick. But law of physics will apply: high force applied at the extremity of a tall stick will create a high moment, so it is not impossible to lift the base. It occurs few times with the FA18 stick, heavy stick with forward center of gravity and mostly noob manoeuver and piloting skill :)

Thanks. I'm quite tall, 188cm with big hands so in that sense I shouldn't have a problem but I looked at pictures of the T-50 side by side with a T16000m (my current) and put my hand roughly where it would be... yeah not ideal.

The T-50 though is also a fair bit taller than TMs F-18 grip, if you're getting lifting with that, even ham handed as you say... hmm.

It is too tall on a desk to be comfortable and you would need to bolt/screw it to the desk to stop it moving

Best bet buy a deskmount for it

Well, that's a real shame because the T-50 grip looks amazing and I want one, but desk mount is simply not possible for me at the moment. I need a mobile desktop stick, I guess from Virpil then I will wait for the Constellation Alpha grip (Delta hat placement looks weird and it also seems too tall).
