Exploding Hueys!

I just started out this campaign and having a lot of fun, thanks for making it! Since i know DCS missions and triggers can go wonky sometimes i play campaigns as single missions so i can just start the next if something doesn't work out.

 

So in mission 1 im checking the first bridge, check the other side of bridge then gain some altitude, no where near power lines or anything then boom im dead. hrrmm.. I think well it took me a long time to get here ill just go to mission 2 and maybe do another play through some other time anyway.

 

So im on mission 2 and just loading up the last cargo to move across the river then suddenly mission ends.. hrmm.. look at log and apparently this time Wolf 1 exploded for no apparent reason so the mission ended..

 

I guess ill just skip to mission 3 now. A shame though.. these are neat missions, i hope i can finish the next ones. :doh:

For mission 1 I only have an idea. It could be possible that you collide with wolf 1 coming from behind. That's the reason why you get the order to wait at the ground until you have visual contact bevor proceeding to the power station.

 

Miossion 2. this is a known issue within DCS. AI Helicopters sliding on the uneven ground.

In that case, WOLF 1 is sliding into the river after about 8 minutes and explodes.

 

So there is a timeframe set for that task. But you can skip any cargo task at any time to proceed within a mission. Please download the completed mission description

Thanks for the response. Knowing that is the issue ill retry #2 and keep in mind the time challenge. Cheers!
