Will it be available for RWS down the line though, or is it a TWS only thing?

I feared that might be the case. Is that expected in tomorrow's patch?

Yes. Check out the latest mini-update.

We should at least be getting SPOT mode for RWS, which needs you to depress and slew the TDC.

*Bump*

Any news on slewing the RWS Radar in azimuth? It should be slewable when azimuth area is smaller than 140. Currently works in TWS, but it should work in RWS as well.

Thank you :-)

No change in scan azimuth in RWS at this point. The only thing you can do is enter ACM and use your head like a bobble head in HACQ or LACQ (10/40nm range respectively but narrow parameters in terms of bar).

Cheers,

@Ziptie: That´s not really a workaround - as the aim of the game is to avoid going STT at this point (and also to avoid the limitations of TWS) ;-)

Question is to the devs if this is on their list or planned for a future update. I hope this is the correct sub-forum for that :-)

I’m aware it’s not a work around, was just giving you “something” that you can do to offset the scan azimuth while not being in TWS.

As advertised, currently not implemented in RWS. HACQ and LACQ have their places, but not in true BVR setting.
