Quekel Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Hi All, I've converted skins i've made with GIMP to BMP and then to DDS, but when ingame there is much more flicker and shimmer then on the default skins. What am i doing wrong ?
Strider32 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 By the sounds of it, you haven't enabled mipmaps when saving. For whatever program you are using, there should be the option to include mipmaps when the saving window appears. flanker1 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 dont know why, but this helps only partially - in my experience. . .
Quekel Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 Worked perfectly! Exported to 24bit BMP and used DXTBMP tool to convert to DXT5 with mipmaps. Thanks alot!
