ghost7o3 Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Hello DCS World, Just out of curiosity does anyone know what the special button is used for on the ALR-67 panel of the RWR suite? Could somene please explain its full functionality and if it is even an important button to map on the keyboard or joystick. I noticed when flying in the F-18C on Multiplayer with the AN/ALQ-165 in XMIT mode, once locked up by an enemy air contact after pressing the special button keybinding the enemy immeadietly loses the lock on me and I no longer hear an RWR tone. Then when re-engaged again I press the special button once more the enemy loses lock. It typically only works about 3 to 4 times for me before enemy doesn't lose lock. What exactly is the special buttons purpose on the ALR-67 for the F-18C? Is this the correct function break the enemy RWR lock? Or is this not supposed to happen?
