Targeting pod draw distance?

My targeting pod in the JF-17 only reach like 40NM then i cant see anything further. Its like there is a white wall there. I know other can see further than that?

 

Any know what can be the problem?

It might just be that you have your view distance set to low? Try checking your graphics settings.

That's the max draw distance for Picture-in-Picture in DCS. It's limited to 40 (42?)NM for optimization purposes.

To be fair, the targeting pod wouldn't be of much use over 40NM anyway.

It seem the max drawing distance is likly around 40nm even in the 16/18's TGP.

 

The TGP pod on the JF-17 only can make a AREA track at about 40KM(21NM), it's a limitation of the LSR max ranging distance for that pod.

Same for all aircraft - I start getting image being textured at 42NM

Yea it looks like its around 42 Nm. Ok so its a DCS limit..
