UthervL Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 While in landing mode I notice the flight path marker all over the place. Sometimes off to the left or right when no rudder inputs or wind in mission. Also, it will be above the horizon while the altitude is dropping. I have also noticed the HUD not being centered on the roll plane. IE showing a 5-10 bank when it is straight and level. The VDI appears to be level. I have seen the over G thread that may break INS but this goes away sometimes like after landing. Is it auto fixing the INS? Finally, I saved a track file for this and when I try to watch it Jester's menu is stuck on the screen and I cannot get rid of it. This happens intermittently and I cannot think of why it is doing this especially when I am outside the aircraft. Also, when viewing the track it does things that did not happen in the flight. IE it goes full throttle on taxi instead of going on to runway and taking off.
draconus Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 The tracks are bugged. The INS over-G is a real thing and you should take care how you handle the aircraft. Landing will not fix it. The flight path marker is not really precise here - you should not use it as main flight instrument but I found it to be good enough anyway.
