Hi there,

Since last update of the F/A-18, I am unable to use mouse wheel , Right/left button to use the PARK/EMERG brake. I can pull the lever with the mouse wheel, but the right.left buttons don't work to engage the brake. Does anybody has the same problem ?

Didn't change any key/ button assignments since last update.

Thanks for your help.

Rotate the handle to the vertical position before pulling it out to engage the parking brake. Pulling the handle in the horizontal Emergency position activates independent hydraulic pressure lines on the secondary hydraulic pressure system for the brakes in the event of primary hydraulic pressure system failure; also disengages the anti-skid system.

Hi Reaper 51,

Thanks for your reply, my handle is in the vertical position (pushed in), in the vertical position I pull it out with the mouse wheel, but after that I can't rotate it either way (right/left mouse button), this is only after the last update, before that, it was working fine.

I tried with anti-skid on and off but with same result.

best regards,

Right, that's what he said. Rotate before pulling.

Left click the handle first, then mouse wheel to pull it out.

The orientation of the text on the wheel indicates which position you have it in (either PARK or EMERG) once extended.

Dear All,

My mistake, I don't know why I thought I had to first pull (mouse wheel) and the turn the handle, but you were right, I have to rotate the handle in PARK position, then pull with the mouse wheel.

Sorry again,

Amedee
