Hello. I wanted to fly around a little bit in DCS after some time but it didn't load. I got stuck at the "waiting for pooled tasks - 2" part, manually closing the process after some time. Backed up and renamed my DCS user folder. Managed to get into the sim with the Hornet and Tomcat on free flight Caucasus instant action, but choosing another plane and loading again leads to a runtime error (Log runtime). Cannot load in with the F-16 at all... GPU memory goes up according to RTSS and before 8GB it crashes to desktop (Log F-16). Very strange. I did some rewiring, added some fans, updated BIOS, etc. but no other programs/games show any issues so the PC should be okay... Any tips?

Hi

you have your pagefile set to low.

try this https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230471

thanks

Yes, indeed I changed the page file not long ago from my C:/ SSD to my D:/ HDD and reduced its size (my coworker recommended it, he was researching stuff about SSD longevity as he was buying one). Since DCS utilizes the pagefile it would be better to have it on an SSD, right? And since the sim seems to run out of VRAM, it can also be stored in the pagefile? I was under the impression that only RAM for all these years. :D

Anyway, thank you very much for your reply, I will test it after work and check back here. Have a nice day :)
