Andy t Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 System: i7, windows 10, DCS installed on SSD, 32GB RAM, Gtx 1080Ti 3440x1440 resolution, gSync monitor DCS Settings: Visib Range: ultra Res of Cockpit Displays: 1024 MSAA: 4 Depth of FIeld: Bokeh SSAA X1.5 Clutter: 250, Trees: 43%, Preload: max Antisotrophic: 8X Vsync: Off Just did a clean windows/DCS reinstall. I am encountering the following issues: When I am inside the cockpit, the framerate is OK for the most part. However, when maneuvering, I occasionally experience "visible redraw" for lack of better word. Also, as soon as I switch to external view, the framerate drops visible and the game feels sluggish. I experimented with having preload radius at max and at 50%. Is there anything I can do to make the game run smoother at external views?

Andy t Posted February 6, 2020 Author Posted February 6, 2020 It appears my issue was incorrect refresh rate. My monitor is overclocked to 120. However, in the nVidia control panel, I had 60 selected. Changing refresh rate to 120 in nVidia control panel appears to have fixed the issue.
