Jester ejection after carrier landing

Jester ai is always ejecting from f14 when i land in the medium size carrier R91 Charles de gaulle, any way to solve this? this gets me really frustrated.

He Ejects when you try to take off from the Hermes too. Not very adventurous...

 

I asked HB about it, and they said they might consider a tick box for no-jester eject to satisfy us crazy carrier stuff guys.

I had him eject once because I got to close to the edge of the carrier while parking the jet. I wonder if you just un-arm his ejection seat he will not eject?

You can set him to be imactive in the jester menu -> crew contract (i think that's what it's called) -> set inactive

He won't eject, but he also won't do anything either. Just remember to turn him back on after takeoff.
