Dehuman Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 I'm not sure if this is Ka-50 specific but I don't have any other choppers to test with. Spawning on a ship, especially the Heli-pad of a Cruiser/Destroyer/Frigate ~50% of the time results in broken gear. This is because the aircraft is spawned a couple of meters above the deck and comes crashing down. By adding wind and waves this can be made to happen more often. Su-33 spawns above the deck too but seems to have a reduced gravity effect for a second after spawning. Reducing the impact. Perhaps the solution to this is the same? Track attached.brokengear.trk

Dehuman Posted February 25, 2020 Author Posted February 25, 2020 Hi seems to be fixed now, please let me know if you are still seeing the same thank you Fixed internally? Still seeing the same on the latest OB release. Here are my test results. Notes: -Excluding the Chinese ships this only seems to occur when spawning at mission start. -Wind speeds of 12m/s and above will cause the gear to break on the Ticonderoga. -Kuznestov is fine in any practical wind speed. Thanks.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 25, 2020 ED Team Posted February 25, 2020 Thanks for the chart, yes tested internally on much heavy winds and all checks out, hopefully you will see changes in a future patch. thank you Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
