p-37 GCI Radar & RSP PAR Radar

the p-37 GCI Radar and the RSP-7 PAR Radar are not able to be used in a mission using the ME and Open Beta 2.5.6...

 

 

They show up in the Encyclopedia just fine but they cannot be used in a mission since they don't show up in the Air Defence Unit drop down menu

 

 

These Radar would be nice to use with new SkyNet IADS script for MIST

in missions involving Aggressor vs Defender with Air Defence and SEAD

aspects

 

 

is this a known Issue?

these are airfield objects, but I have made a feature request to have them added as units in the editor.

I have spoken to the team

 

these units are for airports only and can not be used for air defence.

 

For air defence players can used 1L13, 55G6 and other radars only.

i have a some questions though about your reply;

 

 

What do you mean by airfield objects?

 

 

i tried to use these radar as "units" and also as "static objects"

 

 

neither catagory could be placed by the ME in a mission

 

 

Also these radar show up in the encyclopedia as "air defence"?

 

 

With the new SkyNet-IADS script for MIST that allows scripting of

 

 

air defence NetWorks these radar are more relevant for mission building
