Renko Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 I found out that if you try to do Point Track using BHOT, you cannot achive it. But from WHOT you can. Is that a expected behaviour in the LANTIRN? I cannot find anything on the manual. The only remote mention i found is this one: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3851484&postcount=27 Please, can some developer confirm that?
Super Grover Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Yes, POINT can be initiated only in WHOT, and it is not a bug. However, once POINT is engaged properly, you should be able to switch to BHOT, and again, it's not a bug :) . Krzysztof Sobczak Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
Renko Posted March 8, 2020 Author Posted March 8, 2020 (edited) Thanks for the answer It would be good to add a line on the manual, warning that POINT will only work if initiated on WHOT. For future and current users of the LANTIRN :) Edited March 8, 2020 by Renko

I'm kinda curious where this behaviour originates from, as it is a bit of an odd behaviour :D Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
