I have a Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X controller. It works well for DCS F-15C, but it won't control well in DCS F/A-18. The throttle does not respond, the gears won't retract, etc. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the controller with no luck. I've tried remaping/recongfiguring the contrals with no luck. Does anyone have advice on how to correct this problem. Thanks!

If your HOTAS works with the F-15C, there is no reason why it shouldn't work with the Hornet. Common issues with newly installed modules:

- duplicate bindings caused by the defaults, especially nasty in the axis bindings. You need to remove all the unwanted bindings.

- people update bindings in the game settings rather than the "real" or Sim" settings.

There is not enough information for more advice or even diagnosis. You may want to post a screen shot of the control bindings page for Axis controls.

I am with LeCuvier on this.

Each module in DCS has got its own configuration for input controllers.

Make sure your OPTIONS>CONTROLS> FA18C (Sim) is configured as needed and that there are no double bindings.

Also, make sure that Game Flight mode and Game Avionics mode are un-checked in the Options (I think Gameplay tab). If enabled, they sometimes interfere with high fidelity modules, such as the Hornet.
