I know I used to be able to lean back on my chair and get right up to the actual seat of the ingame cockpit.

(Meaning I had more freedom to move forward and back in the cockpit)

 

Now I can't, limits have been changed you can't lean back at all anymore.

I feel like my face is glued to the hud now.

 

Why make this change?

 

What was wrong with the old limits from the old cockpit

Don’t know why ED changed the default, but you can customize the limits if you want:

Strange .. on my DCS it doesn't ... are you sure to do the edit on the /Saved Games/ path?

I remember doing this long time ago and breaking IC, I might have done something wrong back then.

Yes, I've just made a test and adjusted my 6DOF until I got movement limits realistic enough .. on this video I don't use any zoom, just move my head within the cockpit using headtracking:

And it didnt trigger the IC, MP functions fine.
