My view is constantly recentering itself somewhere forward and left of the cockpit (outside the plane). This happens when I lift the headset to look at something. It's so frustrating... As a fellow Rift S user, I have not seen this problem unless I take my headset completely off for more than 5-10 seconds. Just lifting it to my forehead doesn’t make it recenter because it still thinks it’s on me. A quick fix for that is to remove the rubber nose piece. There is enough room to see down through it to see the keyboard or whatever you need to look at. Not at my rig now but I think there is a recenter setting in oculus home? Will confirm when I get a chance. I would also take a quick glance at the recenter key binding in settings to make sure it’s not double bound... Victor3 Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 I don't have an issue when lifting mine either, there is a bindable command to recenter on the UI .tab Aorus Z370 Ultra Gaming WiFi MB | i7-8700k @ 4.9 GHz | EVGA GTX 1070 Ti | 32 GB CORSAIR Vengeance 3000 MHz DDR4 Ram | Corsair H100 Pro Cooler | RaidMax TX 850M PS | Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe SSD |TM Warthog Hotas w/ F/A-18 Hornet grip | Corsair Gamer 570x Crystal Case | Oculus Rift S DCS | AV8B | F18C | F-16C | A10C | Mig 29 | F15 | SA-342 | Huey | Persian Gulf | NTTR | Combined Arms
brodie4598 Posted March 19, 2020 Author Posted March 19, 2020 Thanks Caliboy - That did the trick. I reset the center position in the Oculus UI and now the recenter for the Oculus and DCS match up. I think I am good. Just not sure if I will have to do that each time or not, but either way that helps a ton.

zaelu Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Also make sure you have an even lighting around you. I have a very bright glass wall on one side and sometimes when I look down the tracking loses its mind because the cameras don't have big dynamic range in IR. I also have shutters that I can lower to solve the problem.
