DCS cinematics on social media have generated a lot of interest from new players, and when it comes to making carrier-focused cinematics the lack of deck cameras makes content creation unreasonably difficult.

Prior to some point in 2.4.4, the PLAT Cam coordinates could be tweaked so that a camera could be placed anywhere on the ship, attached to the ship so that the pitching deck/superstructure wouldn't clip through the camera. With TrackIR External Views and the FOV/zoom controls, it was possible to create amazing views of carrier ops for cinematics.

Then the FOV/zoom control on the PLAT Cam was disabled for being "inaccurate"--an inconsistent reason considering all the other inaccurate things kept in DCS. Currently it's only possible to get deck views on a moving carrier by slewing the camera from a static or player/AI aircraft, which looks terrible because the pitching deck floats all around the camera.

For the Supercarrier, I'd like to see dedicated deck cameras--more than just the PLAT Cam and LSO stand--or at the very least reinstatement of FOV/Zoom controls to the PLAT Cam.

With the stingers mod, even though the plat cam has been disabled. the still have other views in their mod that you can use to view different areas of the deck. ED removed the PLAT cam view altogether and replaced it with he LSO platform view. what i would like to see is to be able to cycle threw all the different camera views on the deck without modding the lua.
