I noticed since last update that the HARMs cannot maintain lock after lofting and therefore fall into the ground/water like a rock after losing momentum. Attached is a track showing the error. It happens in both SP and TOO modes. If I am wrong please feel free to point it out and I'm sorry in advance in that case. Thanks for a great sim.

Hi

I see it in your track but I suspect you were not high enough for initial launch at around 50nm.

HARM range is highly dependent on launch altitude and speed. A high and fast launch at 45k MSL at 1.3M will allow engagement out to 80 nm.

When I try all seems ok.

Thank you

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Indeed I wasn't high enough (it was like that only for demonstration purposes) but there is no reason for the seeker to lose lock. The seeker should go for the target and hit short. I understand the missiles performance and actually followed very closely all the changes ED made on it. If you do it with the same parameters of my track you cannot reproduce? If so then it's ok, if you can then I imagine there could be something to look at.

Sorry I see what you are saying now,

the missile seems to get to the top of the loft and no longer has a target. I will investigate.
