speed-of-heat
Indeed , i think made easier by the fact I was using a stick extension... I re ordered a thrustmaster stick solely because of speed of delivery at this time. dave-uk
How old/how long have you had your Stuart? I bought one in January from Amazon. Be keen to know if its a known fault, and TM have rectified it on new models. It not a cheap bit of kit. Hope you get a replacement soon mate, are you still going for the TM brand? speed-of-heat
To be fair, I have had it for 4 years or so. And it sees use every day. I am staying with thrustmaster, mainly because I can get one quickly from amazon. It is a “known fault”, but my first time seeing it. If I wanted to not fly for a long ish while I might have gone with a virpril stick and base. But they didn’t have anything in stock that I would have considered suitable at present. In honesty I do think it was the stick extension which just provided too much of a lever, so I won’t be using that again... speed-of-heat
When the sphere went so did the cables, I guess I could always fix them too... thanks ! Actually it’s not really the sphere, it’s more a bit that it sits on.., SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
VpR81
I highly suggest you try a VKB or Virpil stick. If coming from the Warthog, i'd rather suggest Virpil than VKB, although VKB offers great quality. But their bases aren't compatible with TM/Virpil/Realsimulator grips except when installing adaptors to the grips. But these adaptors are difficult, if not almost impossible to get as they are always out of stock. Also Virpil offers their bases separate from the grips, wich is a huge advantage if you already have TM grips and only need a new base. With VKB you have to purchase the complete stick, wich is significant more expensive and will make your TM grips useless over night.
