Hi all.

I'm having trouble in specifically the spitfire and Su33:

No matter how much Nose Down trim I apply, the nose wants to go up.

I noticed in the Su33 that I can visually see the elevator pitching to make me go up, uncommanded. The spitfire elevator doesn't seem to show this.

I have attached two tracks, in single player Instant Action free flight with each aircraft.

Please let me know what your findings are.

I have already:

Made sure there is no other controller bound to the pitch.

Taken the trim off my analog and only used buttons. (For the spitfire.)

Rebound the controls.

Tested in single and multiplayer, from cold start and free flight.

My Fw 190 A8, D9 and F16, F18 do not have these issues.

I don't have the Spit installed, so I can only address the Su-33. In replaying your track, I see the extreme pitch up and your struggle to control it. I do not see any attempt to change the pitch trim, only an attempt to force the nose down with the stick.

If I take control of the flight, I can easily input the required trim to settle the aircraft. Further, if I take control almost instantly after the start, the amount of pitch up (even prior to my doing anything) is much less than you experienced.

And, finally, flying the instant action mission myself right from the start, there is only the faintest of pitch up. So little, in fact, that I trimmed it without even thinking about it.

So...what you are experiencing isn't universal. Assuming no conflicts or settings inssues, then it have to be some other interaction causing this for you. I flew this using the latest OB, clean installation.

I did apply the pitch down trim Im pretty sure, but what you say about experiencing less pitchup on your own PC does indicate something is interfering here... I'll see what I can find.

Thanks

Ahhh...my mistake. You did. I just went back took a closer look. I also took control after you did that and had a definite pitch down tendency to the nose. Somethig you did not experience.

Yeah, I really have no idea what the issue is. :(
