Right now I'm trying to complete the training scenario on the A-10C regarding the Air to Air mode on the Litening pod. The problem that I'm having is that the slew keys "; , . / "seem to not be working, when I push and hold one of the keys it pans the camera to maybe a centimetre to the side then it stops, however, it works just fine in air to ground mode. I've searched the web multiple times and I cannot find anyone else having the same problem.

Could it be a sensitivity problem on the pod?

P.S ( My TGP is SOI)

Thank you for your help!

This may not help you, but I've flown the A-10C since Beta, I've flown that particular training mission maybe 3 times, and I've never ever even considered using the TGP in A-A mode outside of this training mission.

As I recall it, last time I tried the air-to-air training mission, I found the same as you do, that the TGP doesn't seem to want to slew (using the TM HOTAS Warthog in my case). But I didn't bother investigating or reporting.

Honestly, what are we gonna do with TGP in A-A? By the time we're done finding a target in the TGP display, we're probably dead 10 times over. And using the TGP to slew Sidewinders on target isn't much good either. If the target isn't terribly out of range by then, it'll probably be out of gimbal limits and we'd be spending way too much time on switchology, when all we should be doing is put the thing on the thing and mash that button, if you catch my drift. ;)

There should be one or two Instant Action missions for air-to-air engagements with the A-10C against L-39. These are quite fun and can be a good challenge. You should try those, just don't bother with the TGP. Get a good tone with the Sidewinder or gun the Albatroses down. They don't seem to like 30mm all that much... :D

Edit: Oh, hey, welcome to the forum! :)

Thank you very much Yurgon! Being new to DCS sometimes it is quite hard to find solutions/reports of potential bugs in the game. Not to mention the amount of brainpower it takes to learn an airframe!
