Are notch filter a real thing for all suitable rockets and radars in DCS?

Hello, pilots. Are notch filter simulated everywhere it should be or is it depend on 3rd party plane makers whim? Who checks that it is simulated everywhere in the same honest manner?

I am asking because I have seen a patch note saying that JF-17 got radar notch recently. So was it flying all the time without it? Was it fair to other players for all this time? What else lack notching? Can I see the list?

It sounded like to me the indication of notch was not seen on the HUD. It sounded like there was always a ten second memory. I haven’t tested how the notch behaves since this patch though

The no notch on the Jeff iirc was a bug.

I don't know how the architecture is in DCS is but previously you could not notch the Jeff radar.

“Fairness” isn’t that much a consideration in dcs. I don’t believe anyone reviews the code of 3rd parties to see if certain features are implemented to make multiplayer fair.
