DCS no main menu

Try and load up DCS after updating today, loads to hanger, but doesn't load the main menu.

 

No crash files generated, repair install doesn't fix, restart doesn't fix. I'm in VR but no menu in the screen mirror either. No sound.

I got it to generate a log

 

2020-04-04 21:53:38.316 ALERT Dispatcher: Error starting Game GUI: [string "./MissionEditor/modules/TableUtils.lua"]:3: assertion failed!

 

log can't be attached, says invalid file

deleted that file, ran repair, still same

Deleted config folder, now works. Now I get to play the configure everything again DCS mini-game.

Rename the DCS (DCS Open Beta) folder from Saved Games to any name and start the game again.

After a successful DCS start, you can copy the input settings from the Config/Input folder to a new DCS folder.

This happened to me.  Before you delete the entire configuration folder, go in it and delete the “options.lua” file.   I’m pretty sure that’s the one. 
save yourself some file copying and whatnot.  
lmk if it works for u.  Worked for me
