kjsf18747 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I have found that after selecting a radar target in RWS, pushing the undesignate button does not have any function and the target remains locked. Thanks in advance, Kevin
RavenFrost Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Same here Locked up a target via TWS, switched to RWS and it remains locked after pressing undesignate. Pressing the Reset-Button on the Radarscreen undesignated the target. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Svend_Dellepude Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Watch wags video in the mini updates thread regarding this. Dunno know if this is mentioned in the manual though. Turn off LTWS for RWS and it wont happen. Working as intended. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.

CypherS Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 It's not about LTWS or TWS. It's about RWS:) The radar is in LTWS by default. I just tried it; if you are in LTWS you will need to double click the reset button to undesignate the target(This matches with this article https://sofrep.com/fightersweep/hornet-vs-viper-part-four/) If you go to the DATA subpage and switch LTWS off, hitting the undesignate switch will clear your lock.
Svend_Dellepude Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 It's not about LTWS or TWS. It's about RWS:) I think reading the manual will make the sim more enjoyable for you. At least watch the mini update vids posted by wags to get a basic understanding. Otherwise I could imagine that you could feel a bit lost. I mean this in the nicest possible way. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.
