GazAce Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) Hey all good folks, well, I'm excited! Just bought the awesome & kindly discounted F-16C Viper. I haven't even seen or tinkered with it yet but I'm totally excited about learning a new AC. I'm only just now browsing the Early Access Guide & man it looks a little scary & different compared to my Hornet but I think this will be a great AC to fly & one that'll give hours of cool mission flights in the future. Now diving head first into Wags efficacious YT Viper guide vids! Thanks ED for the half price sale, much appreciated. BuzzU Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 If you know the Hornet the Viper will be easier. Less buttons to press as most of it is on the HOTAS. Buzz
GazAce Posted April 6, 2020 Author Posted April 6, 2020 Which is easier to learn.. Viper or Hornet? If you know the Hornet the Viper will be easier. Less buttons to press as most of it is on the HOTAS. Cool, that's a relief. Thanks for the heads-up Buzz  GazAce's "Skynet Rig" :: :: 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K :: Asus ROG Strix Z790-A Mobo :: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 MSI Gaming Slim GPU 24GB :: NZXT Kraken Elite 280 RGB AIO White Cooler :: G Skill Trident Z Royals DDR4 4x16GB = 64GB :: WD Black SN 850X NVMe SSD 2TB M.2 (C Drive) :: Samsung 860 Pro 2TB SATA (D Drive) & a couple of other Drives adding another 1.5 TB :: Corsair Crystal 680X White Case :: Asus XG349C 34" Curve G-Sync 180Hz 3440x1440 Monitor :: MSI 1000 Watt PSU PCIE5 :: Virpil Constellation Alpha-R Stick with VPC WarBRD Base :: Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle :: 3 x CubeSim ext mini screens with TM Cougar MFD Bezels :: Asus ROG Pugio 503 Gaming Mouse & Razer BlackWidow mech kb :: TrackIR 5 Pro & Cap Clip :: Win 11 64 Bit

I still love it, despite that updates arrive far too slow (just my personal opinion). It is like a 9mm Polymer Pistol, fully loaded, and ready to fire. This is how it feels for me :) Don't forget to set "CAT 1" if you want to have fun with it :pilotfly: Visit https://www.viggen.training ...Viggen... what more can you ask for? my computer: AMD Ryzen 5600G 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | 32 GB 3.2 GHz DDR4 DUAL | SSD 980 256 GB SYS + SSD 2TB DCS | TM Warthog Stick + Throttle + TRP | Rift CV1
