DUSTY Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Hey, just noticed this in a mission when trying to engage targets with an AGM-65F. When a red smoke marker was present in the FOV of the IR Mav cam DDI, it bloomed or washed out the seeker so it was impossible to target anything within the camera FOV. As this was just a red smoke marker and not a burning column of smoke, would this not be a bug? Cheers. Dagger71 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 I'm wondering how bad it would be if the color was on other side of the spectrum (blue), but designation smoke is very thick with particles and would most certainly obscure any IR sensor.

It only seems to be an issue for the first one or two missions flown in a DCS session. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4082694#post4082694 YMMV i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440

Thought that issue was vehicles on fire.
rinkerbuck Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 I think I'm having the same issue in the Harrier

Green works fine, for example, no issues. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
